All clients are offered one mid year review which is included in their annual accounts fee.

At a convenient time and location for you, we can meet during your trading year to review what has happened since the last review, what you are planning for the forthcoming months, any changes in legislation or the budget that will affect your business (such as RTI, NEST or the AIA temporary increases) and to cover any concerns or issues that you may have.

In addition, we can look at the management accounts (or books and records if no management accounts are prepared) to review the business performance, estimate tax position, flag any areas of concern, compare results to the Business Plan (if applicable) and discuss how certain areas may be improved (if any).

For small / medium businesses the review may take a day, which includes a 2 to 3 hour meeting. For larger businesses the review may take several days in which we may focus the review on set areas (for example “Debtors” and “cash management” or “VAT”) resulting in a meeting with management to review findings.

Mid year reviews are an excellent way of keeping on top of your business financials DURING YOUR TRADING YEAR which must be better than the typical once-a-year meeting with the accountant so many months after year end when it is too late to change anything.

The first review meeting is included within your annual accounts fee, so no additional fee. Subsequent review meeting are charged from £225 per day, however your annual accounts fee will be significantly lower.
